Lens For Canon 7d

Donna asks…How do I take care of my DSLR in the rain?Also how do I store it after the rain? I've read that moisture can create fungus in the lens. If I plan on shooting in the rain while I'm walking around the city should I immediately store it in my camera bag once the shot is taken? I'm new to DSLR photography.
