Lens For Canon Rebel Xs

Betty asks…What DSLR camera is right for me?I was planning on making my garage into a studio to take like modeling photos. I was thinking of taking pin up photos of my friends or just creative work like the pics they take on Americas Next Top Model, I know it's expensive but never hurts to try.
