Hi Jim A :) I have a Pentax and to me there very good cameras. I trust both makes as I've had a Pentax DSLR and a Canon compact in the past.mr.eos answers:The Pentax K30 is newer so expect it to be better specwise. Functionally, they are just the same as well as other dSLR's out there. I'd stick to Pentax just
