I really wanted the Canon Rebel T2i for Christmas, but my mom's starting to hint that it's too expensive. So what's a good DSLR for a beginners photographer (unexperieced)

Ill go as high as $500 under.
The less expensive the better.
But I want it to be a really good warranty and something I can buy in stores.
