Canon Eos Rebel T3

Steven asks…Nikon D1300 or Canon Eos Rebel T3?Ok so I'm about to be a freshmen in a Vocational Technical high school and I'm taking Visual Arts and Photography. I found these two cameras at Walmart for the same price and they are very similar. I've never had a DSLR camera before so I don't really know which one would be better. The school provides the students in the Visual Arts work shop with the Canon Eos Rebel T3, so I was going to get the Nikon so I could learn how to use both cameras,
