Canon Eos Rebel T3i Best Buy

Lisa asks…Camera Lens Question! Need Help!?OK, So i have an old Canon EOS Rebel 2000 that uses film, (with a 28-200 mm tamron lens) and I want to buy a digital one to give to my daughter. I'm buying a canon eos rebel t3i digital, will the lens from the film camera fit on the digital one? Or do i have to buy a whole new lens? Thanks so much for your help!
