Lens For Canon Rebel Xs

Thomas asks…What camera and/ or lens should I get?I have a canon rebel xs, and I am looking to upgrade for better quality images. I mostly shoot women, outside and inside, up close and from a distance for my blog. I am a beginner photographer, and I dont know if I should upgrade my lens or my whole camera. I don't want wide angle, i just want to know what lens i should buy for what i am looking for, or if i should just buy a whole new camera. I use canon, if you can help me please specify
