Lens For Canon 7d

Lizzie asks…What is/are the best lens(es) for a Canon 7D for under $1000?My lens budget is $1000 and I am wondering if it would make more sense to purchase a single higher quality lens or two lower or perhaps even three lower. I am looking to do mostly landscape and nature photography with some wildlife and portraits. I am also looking to shoot some short films. So if any lens or combination exists that would cover all or most of my desires for under $1000, I would love to know, thanks
