Lens For Canon Rebel T3

Lisa asks…Is the Canon F 1.4 really that good?I have a Canon EOS Rebel T3. Right now I have the kit lens and the F 1.8 lens. I am planning on taking some home smash cake photos of my daughter soon and am contemplating ordering an F 1.4 lens... Is it worth that extra bit of money compared to the F 1.8? Also, someone told me I should think about getting an external flash? We live in AK, where there isn't much light during the day.mr.eos answers:I dont think u must spend that much on the f/1.4 ,
