Sigma Lens For Canon Camera

Charles asks…I just purchased a Canon 40d. I have 2 AF lenses from my Rebel Gii. Will they harm the new camera?All the information says the lenses have to be EF to work. I have taken pictures with the AF lenses and this new camera...just because i wanted to see what would happen. But I don't want to continue to use them if there is a possiblilty of damaging the camera.mr.eos answers:No it will not harm your camera. If it worked on the Rebel G II, it will work on the 40D.
