Lens For Canon

Linda asks…What would be the better sports lens on a canon 40d?I have a choice between the canon 70-200 f4 is or the canon 70-200 f2.8 non-is or the canon 100-400 f4.5 is. I mostly take sports and portraits. For sport I take hockey(indoor) and soccer.
