Rent Lens For Canon Camera

Lizzie asks…Please help me choose between the two cameras..?Ok so I first had the choice for the Canon SX30is.. From reading reviews for it alone I learned a lot about cameras. So I seem to have lost interest with the SX30is and got my hots for the DSLR Canon 40D because of its image quality. But then again I read reviews again and learned that I'm gonna spending a lot of cash on lens to get the zoom of Canon SX30is. I am totally ready to buy the Canon 40D but something is holding me back and
