Wide Angle Lens For Canon Eos Camera

Ken asks…Can a Canon FD 17mm f4 wide angle lens be mounted on a Canon EOS Rebel XT?I am looking for a wide angle lens for my XT and am wondering if the FD has any effect on whether the lens can be mounted on my camera.
