Mark asks…Can i use a lens made by one company with a camera made by another?I have an old Minolta Maxxum 5000i and I suspect that my lens (Maxxum AF Zoom 35-80mm) is broken. I've been looking on Ebay and Amazon for a replacement lens, but can't quite find the exact one for a reasonable price.
Would a 35-80mm lens by Canon or Kodak work the same as a Minolta Maxxum would? I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on an unnecessary product, you know?
