George asks…When taking real close up pics, what matters most in a camera?The macro lens or the optical zoom? I basically need a camera where I can take really close up pics of peoples' face.

What is the difference between macro tele and macro wide?mr.eos answers:All the close up shots of my models are taken with a 85 or 105 mm lens (not macro). Shorter lenses tend to distort the persons face and make the nose seem longer, etc. In the old days we used to shoot peoples faces
