Lens For Canon 60d

Mary asks…What's the best exposure to take night photography?What's the best exposure to take night photography?
I have Canon 60D and having problems taking pictures when the place is poor of lights. I know that I have to use tripod, otherwise, the picture got so much grain because of the high ISO. I just don't know what's the best exposure when I use the tripod
