Lens For Canon T1i

Donald asks…How come, some people can take amazing photos with inexpensive cameras?I have a Canon t1i (not too expensive but good quality), and some pictures on flickr that are amazing are taken with, for example: a canon xsi (a few hundred dollars less than my camera).
