Lens For Canon Slr Digital Camera

Daniel asks…Which SLR Digital should I consider buying?I'm really into photography and I'm finally getting my own SLR Digital Camera. I wanted the Canon Rebel xTi at first but my dad kind of convinced me that Nikon is the way to go. I'm looking at the D80 and the D90. Any suggestions on which one?
