- Second hand Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 ~ £200-250 (this is cheap compared to anything else available)

Portraits:
- Canon EF 28mm f2.8 (non IS) ~ £150-180 for work in confined spaces
- Canon EF 50mm f1.8 II ~ £90 upperbody, and full length in open spaces. Beware build quality is somewhat below par.

Street:
- EF 28mm f2.8 (as above)
- Sigma
