Lens For Canon

Donald asks…I just bought the Canon XSi and have no experience with it. What is the best EVERY DAY lense to buy?It came with EFS Canon 18-55mm Lens and Canon ZOOM Lens EF 75-300mm. I can't get the pictures to be clear with the 75-300 but the 18-55mm does not zoom close enough. I use the camera for family portraits, taking pictures of my son's baseball game and so on. I am also on a very tight budget so really can't afford a ton. Please help!!!mr.eos answers:I would have to say the EF 24-105mm
