Lens For Canon 7d

Sandra asks…Is the Canon EF-S 10-22mm a good lens to use for general purpose?I've read a lot of reviews that praise this lens. I know that it's a wide-angle lens but is it a good lens to walk around with?mr.eos answers:It's a little short for general use but, it is otherwise a great ultra-wide for APS-C or 1.6x crop Canons. It's one of my favorites on my 40D and 7D. The new EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM is much better for walking around. My current general purpose lens is the EF 17-55mm
